In the millennium, I explored the world, real time, searching for art. 20 years on, I’m revisiting my journal, ‘Art Culture Vulture, Travels of an art seeker: A 24-hour day in our world, jumping time zones. What interested me back then was how art become a universal language, communicating cultural diversity and differences without the barriers of speech and geographical borders. Art united people sharing new, rich perspectives, focusing on identity, community and place while sharing their truth. Art Seeker Stories, continues these conversations seeking stories of art, sharing creativity, inspiration and hope, of cultural differences and diversity, welcoming inclusivity within art.

The Art Seeker Stories Podcast invites artists to an imaginary artist residency on Art Seeker Island. Each artist will create their own version of what they imagine Art Seeker Island and their studio space will look like, creating an environment that will nurture and flourish their creativity, on their own voyage of discovery.

Artists are invited to explore their imagination, to seek deep within themselves to produce a visual concept for an imaginary exhibition, The Shape of Hope.
